What inspired you to use this method of teaching? - It’s Convenient. Students are visual oriented. Computers provides them graphics so they can focus more. • What types of lesson do u integrate using CAI? - Basic computer operations ELEMENTARY: Keyboarding, word processing HIGHSCHOOL: Power point, mastering the keys, web designs.
Advantages and Disadvantages using CAI? - Makes lesson more convenient, they can easily grasp because of graphics. Computers provides these things because it catches attention. • What are the other difficulties and challenges in teaching using the CAI and how did you cope with it? - Limited number of computers versus the students I have. I overcome it by time management and scheduling of the students.
In order to apply the lessons, what projects or homeworks do you assign them to do? -Take home activities where they can do programming. GRADE SCHOOL: keyboarding, sheetworks HIGHSCHOOL: powerpoint presentations. • How can you compare the classroom with computers as a medium of teaching and a room without it? - Gives you more efficiency, makes your lessons more effective.
