Some facts about SQA: • The national awarding body in Scotland • Arms Length Accreditation Organisation in Scotland • Offers qualifications across the whole of the UK and many countries in the rest of the world • Employs around 700 staff and 15,000 subject specialists • Has in excess of 2,000 centres approved to offer SQA qualifications • Issues circa 400,000 certificates a year
