Background City: Den Haag Program: Master’s in International Law. Cohort of Students: 200 students (90% international).
Objectives • Acculturation • Adjustment to the new environment • Exploration of the city • Meet new people/fellow students • Discovery of needs • Group participation
Product Description An interactive and fun activity. • 7 multicultural teams. Each team: • Is given a set of tasks and hints. • Travels around the city of Den Haag and discover it. • Collects useful and relevant information. • Shares the info with the rest of the groups.
FOOD The food culture in Den Haag is unique. • Restaurants • Food chains • Ethnic cuisines
HISTORY & CULTURE Every city has a tale to tell. • Monuments/ historical sites • Museums • Art shows/ exhibitions
Fun Activities Fun activities are a necessity for every student. • Pubs/Clubs • Cinemas • Dance/Music/Choir practice
Sports & Fitness All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. • Gyms/Fitness Centers • Playgrounds/Stadiums • Sport Stores/cafes
SHOPPING You need stuff and where better to shop than in the best shopping center. • Supermarkets • Malls • Ethnic markets
