  2. Updates for all • What does the State AzNN do anyway? • USDA plan stumbling blocks • New banners available • New items in warehouse • Community Tool Kits • More changes • Program Committee dates and SM

What does State AzNN do anyway? • Food demo training • Social Marketing and research • Cross program collaborations • Curriculum review and editing • Website creation and maintenance • Grocery store sampling • Recipe creation • Epidemiological reporting • Green room updates • Lots and lots and lots of paperwork

USDA Stumbling blocks with FY10 plan • Many requests to improve content in “summary of research” section • Ensure materials are staying with the LIA not with the service site. • Ensure that when qualifying sites that the information used ties directly to the audience being served. • Details of services provided in DES offices • Age appropriate materials provided for each group served • Prorate staff • Prorate curriculum • Prorate shared materials • Space calculations scrutinized-their calculator was changed this year • Appropriate maintenance charges

  5. Champion for Change Banner • We have created a new banner for your use. • Very limited supply • Intended to be used over and over • How to order them? Sign up sheet out at the registration table. Your name, your agency, how many you would like

Now in or coming soon • Cinch sacs • Adult size aprons • The usual cast of characters: pens, pencils, bags, hackey sacs, yoyos **disclaimer about items** (always a catch) • Color changing pens • Portion plates • Some things we are looking into: veggie brush, flex straws, hope to make reusable totes a regular item.
