  3. Summary of myth • Heracles sent to steal Girdle • When Heracles arrived Hippolyta greeted him • Hera disguised herself, sent Amazons after Heracles • Heracles sees the attack and kills Hippolyta • After enemy is driven back, returns to Mycenae • Gives belt/girdle to Eurytheus
