Alice in Wonderland + The Madhatter’s Magical Tea Party Our half term season of Alice-in-Wonderland-inspired film screenings and workshops begins with Walt Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, the ever-so-eccentric and endearing 1951 classic. After the film, join us at The Mad Hatter’s Magic Tea Party where our marvelous Magicians in Residence will be hosting a Wonderland-themed high-tea with a twist. With a range of activities for all ages, this is enchanting family entertainment, guaranteed to have the whole family grinning like the Cheshire Cat himself! Presented by Watershed’s Pervasive Media Studio as part of The Family Arts Festival.
Decoration Ideas: • ‘Drink me’ labels on the squash jugs • ‘Eat me’ labels on the cakes • Wall decoration: Old Alice drawings printed and cut out/giant cards/a tiny door • Bunting/fairy lights • Polka-dot table cloths • Vases of flowers in the center of each table • Paper labels with Alice quotes on them scattered around • Funny signs (This Way/Wrong Way/Up/Down) • Toadstool tops for sitting on the floor and cushions/rugs • Black and white checker area on the floor • Vintage furniture e.g. old standing lamps • Mirrors/frames/old books/playing cards
