  1. Mid-Atlantic Placement Conference 2012 Personal and Professional Development Committee David Stuart Alex Tsikerdanos October 2012

  2. Who is MAPC? MAPC is the Mid-Atlantic Placement Conference organized by the Personal and Professional Development Committee of MACUHO

  3. What is MAPC? MAPC’s focus is networking candidates and employers for bachelor, graduate and masters entry-level positions, similar to national conference placement events, but in a small setting and catered specifically for those in the Mid-Atlantic area.

  4. Why MAPC? • Smaller setting than national conference placement • Location, Location, Location • Great jobs and candidates • 50 interviewed positions from 38 institutions in 2010 • 131 registered candidates in 2010 • Great prices! • Candidate registration • Employer registration

  5. What do Employers say? “The travel was easy and environment easier to handle. The employers and candidates seemed more relaxed.” “Conference was efficient for its purpose and volunteer/committee members were polite and helpful” “I will probably reduce the hours spent interviewing at NASPA as a result of my meetings here. Thanks for you efforts.”

  6. What do Candidates say? “The location was spacious and comfortable” “Very good selection and variety of schools and job opportunities. Well worth the fee to receive so many interviews” “MAPC was GREAT! This was my first time attending an event of this sort and I believe it to be very helpful.”
