Older Women Rock! • Partnered with “Older Women Rock!” organised by Leah Thorn a local spoken word poet. • To raise awareness and explore the issues faced by women in their late 50’s and 60’s through a series of workshops, retro fashion, pop up shop, performance and film
Edinburgh Woollen Mill Fashion Show • Organised a fashion show of the Autumn/Winter Collection. • Increased our links with local businesses • Raised £250 towards our charities for the year via raffle, refreshment and entry
Suna Restaurant Meal • Partnered with restaurant for a Sunday Carvery • For every carvery sold between 3 and 7 pm, £7.50 per head was donated to our charity • Invited friends and family, as well as walk-ins • Raised £545 towards our charities for the year
Human Traffiking Awareness Day • Distributed leaflets, and spoke with public about trafficking • In partnership with Kent Police awareness week, also raising our own profile within the town. • Leaflets were funded by Shepway District Council. • Bullet points in two columns • Bullet points in two columns • Bullet points in two columns • Bullet points in two
Stop the Traffik Global Blanket Campaign • 2017 – 2018 Project for SI Folkestone • Raising our profile within the local area and linking with our Programme Action Work • Invite all clubs within Region to support with a “Club Square” • Friendship link clubs will support in the same way
