Drive Simple Past: He drove a car. Past Continuous: He was driving a car Past Perfect: He had driven a car.
Rob Simple Past: He robbed a bank. Past Continuous: He was robbing a bank. Past Perfect: He had robbed a bank.
Go off Simple Past: The alarm went off. Past Continuous: The alarm was going off. Past Perfect: The alarm had gone off.
Catch Simple Past: He caught a fish. Past Continuous: He was catching a fish. Past Perfect: He had caught a fish.
Run after Simple Past: They ran after the dog. Past Continuous: They were running after the dog. Past Perfect: They had run after the dog.
Disappear Simple Past: They disappeared into the clouds. Past Continuous: They were disappearing into the clouds. Past Perfect: They had disappeared into the clouds.
Study Simple Past: She studied in the library. Past Continuous: She was studying in the library. Past Perfect: She had studied in the library.
Buy Simple Past: He bought a beer. Past Continuous: He was buying a beer. Past Perfect: He had bought a beer.
Look Simple Past: They looked at the woman. Past Continuous: They were looking at the woman. Past Perfect: They had looked at the woman.
Lock Simple Past: She locked the door. Past Continuous: She was locking the door. Past Perfect: She had locked the door.
