Culture Of Cambodia • Its culture is highly influenced by India & China • The golden age of Cambodia was between the 9th and 14th century, during the Angkor period. • When greeting people or to show respect in Cambodia people do the "sampeah" gesture, identical to the Indian Namaste and Thai wai. • Khmer classical dance is a form of Cambodian dance originally performed only for royalty. Having 4,000 gestures in this type of dance.
