What is “Karate for Life”? • A 75 page document that will be distributed to every dojo in Canada • It is a “what” document that outlines the Canadian karate-specific athlete development plan • Currently in a digital final draft • Open invitation for all stakeholders to review the information and provide feedback to the committee. • Will be emailed to all provincial associations for distribution to individual dojo

Feedback • “Karate for Life” will be emailed with a letter of introduction to all provincial associations by August 1st, 2009 • Feedback will be collected via email from August 1st to August 14th • The feedback will be considered/integrated and both “Karate for Life” and the “Karate Canada LTAD Model” poster will go to print on August 21st • Copies will be distributed in the first week of September
