3. Introduction Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little, was a foster kid for several years and went to several different homes. Malcolm X later said that violence by whites killed three of his father's brothers. He was a black prominent nationalist leader who spoke for the nation of Islam. He has six children, 3 girls and 3 boys. His wife was Dr.Betty White. In 1946 at 20 years old, he went to jail. He was assassinated febuary,21st 1965 in New York City, New York. Malcolm X’s early childhood and family life Ku Klux Klan threats—​Earl's UNIA activities were "spreading trouble“— ​the family relocated in 1926 to Milwaukee, Wisconsin acist and shortly thereafter to Lansing, Michigan, where the family was frequently harassed by the Black Legion, a white group. So he moved around a lot. When Little was six his father was killed in what was officially ruled a streetcar accident, though Louise believed Earl Rumors had been murdered by the Black Legion. went on, “white racists were responsible for his father's death,” which was were widely circulated, and were very disturbing Malcolm X when he was a child.  word key Harassed-to trouble by repeated attacks. streetcar accident- car crashes into another by not trying to but bad things ends up happening. murdered- killed and is dead from something that a person did to the other person. Rumors- gossip, a secrete being passed on from one person to another. Racists- somebody or someone who cares about looks of skin color, or/and religion, and/or beliefs.

5. Education From his adoption of the Nation of Islam in 1952 until he broke with it in 1964, Malcolm X promoted the nation’s teachings. These included the beliefs: that black people are the original people of the world that white people are "devils” that to whites, are the superior and that the demise of the  white race is imminent. Many whites and some blacks were alarmed by Malcolm X and the things he said during this period. He and the Nation of Islam were described as hatemongers, black supremacists, racists, violence-seekers, segregationists, and a threat to improved race relations. He was accused of being antisemitic.His education was at the West Junior High School.Malcolm had went to jail on charges of larceny and sentenced to ten years in jail and to pass the time during his incarceration, Malcolm X read constantly, devouring books from the prison library in an attempt make up for the years of education he had missed by dropping out of high school.  Word key Segregationists – aperson who favors, encourages, or practices segregation  especially racial segregation. Larceny-the wrongful way taking and carrying away of the personal goods the of another from his or her possessionwith intent to convert them to the taker's own use. Devouring- taking up all the information and learning it.

6. Accomplishment In the immediate aftermath of Malcolm X's death, commentators largely ignored his recent spiritual and political transformation and criticized him as a violent rabble-rouser. However, Malcolm X's legacy as a civil rights hero was cemented by the posthumous publication in 1965 of The Autobiography of Malcolm X. they finally realized that Malcolm X was recast Malcolm X as one of the great political and spiritual leaders of modern times.
