  3. OBJETIVOS • Desenvolver conhecimentos científicos e tecnológicos que permitam a utilização de óleos vegetais para produção de biodiesel, com rentabilidade econômica sem prejuízo ao meio ambiente. • Melhoria da qualidade de vida.

  4. OBJETIVOS ESPECIFICOS: • -Avaliar os parâmetros físico-químicos do óleo do nabo forrageiro • -Otimização da produção de biodiesel de óleo de nabo forrageiro em escala de laboratório • -Desenvolver pesquisa agronômica para produção de nabo forrageiro • -Desenvolvimento de modelo de usina para geração de energia elétrica usando biodiesel

DESENVOLVIMENTO DO TRABALHO UCDB • Desenvolvimento de pesquisa agronômica para produção de matéria prima (nabo forrageiro e mamona); análises de resíduos e térmicas UFMS • Definição de parâmetros do óleo "in natura" de nabo forrageiro; • Produção do Biodiesel utilizando óleo de nabo forrageiro e controle de qualidade. UNIDERP  • Desenvolvimento de pesquisa aplicada na utilização de biodiesel para geração de energia elétrica.
