Mental feeding Specific Objectives : • To promote personal-social development by letting the child get along with other children, by showing a positive attitude and by using appropriate discipline while doing the activities. • To promote motor development through activities designed to exercise the child’s muscles. • To promote language development by encouraging them to sing, tell stories, etc. • To involve the parent/s in proper care and development of the child.

Objectives • General Objective • To be able to educate pre-school students about proper health, hygiene and sanitation
Objectives • Specific Objectives • To be able to teach the students the importance of eating the right food and avoiding those which are bad for their health • To promote proper dental hygiene by teaching them the proper way of brushing their teeth • To instill to them the proper way of handwashing • To teach them the proper way on how to wash their face as well as how to groom and comb their hair neatly • To inform them of the consequences of having unhygienic lifestyle • To be able to encourage them to practice good habits
Strategies • Interactive Lecture • Short Film Showing/Role playing • Teaching aids on how to comb their hair, brush their teeth, wash their face, and wash their hands • Free toothbrushes, comb and hair clips will be given to the students • Evaluation via question and answer portion, games and practice of hair combing with grooming, washing of face, brushing of teeth and proper hand washing
