REQUIREMENTS • i-FLEX at PP0 must be manufactured according to drawing in order to have a correct z position of the cable board and lower the force in the connectors CAD nominal position
REQUIREMENTS • Service must withstand a temperature from -40 up to 70 C. • Bundles are 2600 mm length and made of aluminium/copper: • Aluminium at : contraction of 4 mm inside the IBL package and 3 mm expansion
DESIGN • The overlength needed for the bundle thermal contraction is managed using bundle with wavy shape on top of the IPT for bundle and cooling pipes • In order to control the overlength distribution, a Z stopper is used on each service ring.
BONDING TOOL • The overlength between each service ring will be precilly set by a bonding jig CNC machined
MANUFACTURING TOLERANCES • The type01 bundles will be manufactured using a maximum achievable precision of +-5 mm (SLAC) from the cable board to the PP1 potting
MANUFACTURING TOLERANCES • This length distribution will be managed at PP1 Pipe Z stopper
