  3. What Is Your Will? With free will and choice comes power What we must determine for ourselves is how we will use that power Will we use it for good in this life? Will we use it for bad in this life?

  4. What Is Your Will? Each one of us will make up our minds and decide who we will be What it all boils down to is what our will for this life is Do we will to live a life that submits to God’s will? David was a man who willed to do right

  5. What Is Your Will? • 1. I will singpraises (v. 1) • David had declared that he would sing praises to the Lord • When someone thinks about the wonderful works of God, they can’t help but want to sing • “Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms” (Js. 5:13)

  10. What Is Your Will? • 2. I will behave wisely (v. 2) • As a leader and example before others, we need to behave wisely (Matt. 5:16; Col. 4:5) • As parents, we need wisdom to teach, correct and nurture our children (Eph. 6:4) • As a spouse we need wisdom to love, honor, and respect our spouse (Eph. 5:33)

  11. What Is Your Will? • 3. I will set nothing wicked before my eyes (v. 3-4) • That word wicked means worthless • How many times can we honestly say we have watched things that were worthless? • Do we look at things on television and on the internet that simple make us no better?
