Why Crafters? • Crafters do hand and machine work that is used for fundraising or for the comfort of the cairns • Crafted items are used in NLOL, Cairn Mall, and Craps, and other fundraising events • Pillows and Blankets are sent direct to fosters for their comfort • Our Bandana Mamas make Logo bandanas that are used for pictures and that go with adopted dogs. The Adopt Me Bandanas are sent to Foster Homes for use on outdoor activities to stimulate local interest in our fosters. Every bandana goes with a GREAT BIG MAMA HUG

Crafters and their Items • The Crafters Yahoo group has 49 members • Crafts include knitting, Crocheting, Quilt making, Cards And Scrapbook Making, Decoupage, Hand And Machine Embroidery, Doll Making. • We have two ‘non CPCRN’ groups, the LOL – Little Old Ladies in PA whose donations come in via Amy, and the Girl Scouts whose donations come in via Kelly Walker

  5. Website Work • We have three main areas everyone is familiar with • www site – everyone is familiar with • Mall site – Sale of donated and purchased items, as well as many ‘side’ sections • Memorial Site – commemorative area for Cairns who have gone ahead

  6. Website work - WWW • Maintained by Veronica H and Lisa T • Main Cairnrescue Site • Regular Updates • Available dogs updates • Grandparents / Guardian Angel Pages • Other areas updated as needed

Website Work – Mall • Mall and Web Based Fundraising • Mall Stores • Eclectic Corner, Café Press, Cairngora, Bed and Blanket Store, Grooming Store, Calendars, Newsletters and WIS, Cookbook, Mugs , Cross Stitch, and Cartridges • Partner Programs • Family Paws Dog and Cat Behavior Consulting, Doggy Duds, DecoTogs, Stitchwithus Logo items • Affiliates • I-give, Petsmart, JB Pets, Amazon, and many others • New Leash • 4 times per year • Faces of Rescue • At least bi monthly updates showing intakes dogs

Website Work – Memorial Mall • Memorial Pages • Angel Walls – paid memorials • Plaque, Plaque and Pop Up or Plaque and Page • Family Walls • CP Kids Pages • Memorials are written for every cairn that dies in foster care. We work with CRM letters, photos and the foster moms to memorialize those who never get that forever home.

Ebay Buy and Sell • Two Sides to Ebay • Selling • Mission Fish is up and working • Ebay selling side will be set up soon, is secondary to other financial areas • Selling on Ebay is a way of getting NON CPCRN dollars and raising awareness of our rescue organization • Buying • Our fundraising group does purchase items for NLOL and CRAPs. We look for cairn and other terrier items.. And we snipe – make last minute minimum bids… if it isn't a TERRIFIC deal, we don’t buy it. • The Ebay Yahoo group tracks incoming ‘in kind’ donations and its files and web pages are used for NLOL setups
