  2. Facts on Qui. • The Qui dynasty ruled from 221 BC to 207 BC. • They had two emperors in there time of ruling, Qui Shihuang was the first emperor and the last one was Qui Er Shi. • The Capital of the Qui was Xianyang.

  3. The Qui’s Achievements. • When Qui Shihuang was ruler he thought up the plan to build a really long wall to protect the Qui from attackers and to maybe keep the Qui people inside. • An other thing they achieved was to standardized money and weighing food.

  4. Bad side of Qui. • The Qui took away land from the noble people to try and not have them rise against him. • The Qui made the peasants ether work on farm or silk, and if they chose to not work on farm or silk they were forced to work on the wall.

Questions about the Qui. • 1.Why did the emperor think along way would help china. • Answer:because he thought the wall would help protect them from attackers. • 2.Why did the emperor want a river of mercury in his tomb? • Answer:because he thought it would make his ruling memorable. • 3.What did the people think of the emperor? • Answer: Most of the people of china thought that he was really unfair and strict but they did not know he was helping them out by building the wall. • 4.How were the people treated badly by the emperor? • Answer: The emperor would kill people who thought he was a bad ruler and he would burn all the books that spoke of other beliefs.
