Heat Pump Water Heater Subcommittee • Plan to restart the HPWH evaluation subcommittee • Need to review research plan and preliminary results • Focus will be on technical development of workbook • Numerous subcommittee meetings are expected • Staff to lead subcommittees • Call for volunteers to actively participate
Small/Rural Subcommittee Update • Met on September 18th • Awarded contract for barn lights UES development • Awarded contract for schools lighting UES development • Both contracts underway • Discussed MH decommissioning measure • Found to be important measure, but not likely to be taken up by utilities alone • Tabled development as work plan item • Discussed future workplan items and requested additional funds for school Wx • Operations subcommittee approved additional funding; drafting scope of work
Refrigerator Decomissioning Proposed Timeline • List of upcoming studies: • Proposed timeline: • Reconvene subcommittee in January • Report back to RTF in March • This timeline takes into consideration PSE and BPA timeline for fixing ex-ante savings estimates for the 2014 program cycle.
LMI Subcommittee Update • Met on November 8th and November 13th • Developed two voting options based on subcommitee discussions: • Voting closed on November 18th at 5PM • Did not receive enough votes for quorum as per subcommitee voting guidelines • 10 voting members required to vote; received 9 • 60% “yea” required to pass; recived 63% • Next steps: Bring the LMI discussion back before the RTF at a later date
LMI Subcommittee Results #1. The following specifications represent the subcommittee's best estimate of "the average efficiency levels for the component after the full efficiency retrofit is completed under today's programs." If the RTF pursues LMI Option 3, these values should be used to represent the full measure package.
LMI Subcommittee Results #2. The RTF should not proceed with implementing Option 3 until it revisits the merits of Option 3. Option 1c, or similar, may be a better option.
RTF Website Getting a Facelift • Council PA department helping to modify website to align more with council theme • Will keep same content and minimize disruption to existing site • May ask for volunteers to test out new site • Send any suggestions for improvement to RTF staff Also, any ideas for a new logo?
