The Fire Truck By Avrohom Goldberg
Little Benny wasn’t short or really tall And he was kind of shy didn’t speak so much at all But something that made talk talk and talk and talk Was that his father drove a fire truck He would speak about the many people his father helped And how he would earn lots and lots of gelt But one thing he did not like he had to go in fire But once he was in it himself and I am not a lier
Once when he was lying in his fire truck bed A smoke alarm he heard and his mother said “We must leave the house now we have no other choice Or else the fire will burn up my little girls and boys.” As they were leaving the fire was getting hotter And mother and kids out of the house they did totter
Father to the rescue! Came him and his crew In that red fire truck In the house he did duck He put out those flames Benny gave him the name “The fire putter outer” Not the real name firefighter
So Benny is very proud now that his father goes in fire Because he realized what he did and he is not a lyer To help people out is what he wants to do it is a new task But he’ll help people without a fire truck and a big mask
Little Benny waves goodbye you are now his friend Now this story is over so let’s say: The End
