His entire family moved seven years later. Their new home was in Indiana. Lincoln’s stepmother was kind. She thought he was a good boy. Lincoln seldom went to school, but he was an eager learner. He read and reread the few books his family owned. As a young man, Lincoln had many jobs. He also had big dreams.
