Conclusions • The molecular methodologywasefectiveandfastto define theetiologyofmeningitis. • CNS infection for EV wasobserved in thesummer (highertemperatures). • The EV typesfoundwereHumanEchovirus • It wasobserved a predominanceof EV infection in the ages of 4 to 17 years old. • It wasnotpossibletoidentifytheetiologicagent in themajorityofthesamples.
