Consider this rubric to evaluate yourself as you write: Extra Credit: Four complete answers. A: Three complete answers. B: Two complete answers and one incomplete answer. C: One complete answer. D: Three or four incomplete answers. F: Only fragments of one or two answers.

Turn your paper in.Separate the desks into quads.(you may choose the groups as long as you can all be seated and quiet within two minutes)Each member needs to write her/his name in one of the four boxes (leaders, events, laws & the courts, groups).
二 Sorting Civil Rights Only the person whose name is in the box may write things down. Together, write all the people, places and things from the center box into the boxes you think they belong in. You have five minutes to complete this. It does not need to be perfect; we will share answers later.

四 What’s The Message? Marches, protests, sit-ins and boycotts all have one thing in common: signs! Match the problem/solution cards with the correct protest sign. When your group is finished, call me over.
五 Re-Sorting Civil Rights Let’s share our answers and make changes as necessary.
It will be turned in for a grade on Thursday as home prep, but to get credit on your notes check, you will need to have started the assignment.
