Agenda • “Visualizing Our Vision” • Curriculum Priorities • Reports & Updates
Visualizing Our Vision • If there were no obstacles at all, what would I love to see happen to the Technology & Engineering Program in Parkway? • What would I love to see my students doing? What would it look like? What would it sound like? • What is my ideal scenario? What do I want this program to be remembered or known for? How do I want people to describe our program and our student’s work? • What must happen in our program to achieve the mission of the Parkway School District?
Stage 1: Identify Desired Results Stage 2: Assessment Evidence Stage 3: Learning Plan
Goals of the Curriculum Action Teams • Determine CTE program/pathwaytransfer goals and determine which goals belong within each CTE course. • Update Stage 1 curriculum to include explicitly stated transfer goals. • Align curriculum to Parkway M/V. • Create/revise assessments to align with Stage 1.
