SWOT Analysis S : Strengths W : Weaknesses O : Opportunities T : Threats
Strengths AT&T is the United States’ largest provider of broadband Leading Market Position -Has a high stock value Strong Financial Position -Established Company with a large revenue
Weaknesses Prices continue to increase more than other companies • Not enough towers -Leads to bad reception Company has liabilities from older business spin-offs
Oppurtunities • Industry will continue to grow • Company will grow, especially with its partnership will Apple • Further industry growth with 4G technology
Threats • Technology is falling behind • Price Competition is growing dangerously • AT&T relies on the iPhone, which leaves Apple the control
I would recommend buying stock because the price seems to increase slowly but surely. I think that if you hold onto it for a while then you should make some money.
