  3. Fish Examples: • Seahorse • Catfish • Shark Definition: • Cold blooded • Live in water entire life • Have fins • Most have scales • Breathe with gills • Most lay eggs

  4. Amphibians Example • Newt • Salamander • Frog Definition • Live in damp places • Smooth moist skin • Cold blooded • Lay eggs • Most born in water • May breathe with gills then lungs

  5. Reptile Example • Turtle • Crocodile • Snake Definition • Dry scaly skin • Cold blooded • Breathe with lungs • Lay eggs

  6. Mammal Example • Dolphin • Rabbit • Lion Definition • Have hair or fur • Warm blooded • Breathe through lungs • Give birth to live young • Feed young milk

  7. Bird Example • Geese • Bald Eagle • Cardinal Definition • Warm blooded • Have feathers • Have wings & no front legs • Hollow bones • Have beaks • Use lungs to breathe • Lay eggs
