The voice of European Women • The largest umbrella organisation of women’s associations in the EU • National co ordinations in 31 European countries and 21 European-wide member organisations (migrant women, women farmers, women lawyers, trade unions etc.) • Concentrating on European-level, but activities from local to international level • Aiming to promote women’s rights and gender equality

  3. EWL campaign for 2016 as EU Year to End Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) • Awareness raising on VAWG • Advocacy at European level • E-petition on www.change.org

  4. EWL campaign ‘Together for a Europe free from prostitution’ • Awareness raising • Advocacy at European and national level • Towards a European abolitionist network
