Ascribe(v.): • attribute something to (a cause) • He ascribed Jane's short temper to her upset stomach.
Enjoined(v.): • instruct or urge (someone) to do something • The code enjoined members to trade fairly.
Tenuous(adj.): • very weak or slight. • The tenuous link between interest rates and investment made buyers concerned.
