  17. Step 1 Installation of Master Lift lever • See figure 1, hold the upper end of the Master Lift lever with your left hand, let the Dovetail groove snap the rail of operating bed, and lift the lever and rotate the handle on the sleeve rod positively until the Dovetail is fixed.

  18. Step 1 Installation of Master Lift lever • See figure 2, rotate Lock sleeve of Tighten belt box negatively, adjust the Tighten belt box to the desired height, turn the Tighten belt box until the pull force is perpendicular to the incision direction, and fasten the Lock sleeve positively. • Note: Avoid pulling out the Tighten belt box when you feel it is stuck in lifting process, because the stuck position is the designed highest position.

  19. Step 2 Installation and connection of Hook plate Push end • See figure 3, hold the connecting end of the Tighten belt and maintain pressure on the push end, then you can pull the Tighten belt out to a required length. Note, don’t pull it out entirely.

  20. Step 2 Installation and connection of Hook plate • See figure 4, select one appropriate Hook plate, hook it to abdominal muscle flap within sterile gauze, insert the connecting end to the connecting trough and tighten up.

  21. Step 3 Adjustion of Hook plate and Pull force • See figure 5, take an idle Hook plate, place the Recessed hole over the rotate end of Tighten belt box.

  22. Step 3 Adjustion of Hook plate and Pull force • See figure 6, by rotating the rotate end, the retractor can pull open the abdominal muscle on one side. Note, if the gear slips while tightening the belt, it means the pull force has reached sufficient strength and increasing tension may result in wound tissue damage.

  23. Step 4 Installation at opposite side • According to Step 1, 2 and 3 above, the retractor can pull open the abdominal muscle flap at opposite side, thus make a sufficient exposure.

  24. Caution • Choose appropriate model Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery ：JM-B、JM-E Gastrointestinal Surgery ：JM-A、JM-D Thyroid Surgery: JM-C • While installation, let the Dovetail groove snap the rail of operating bed; • Do not rotate the “Rotate end”anticlockwise； • Make sure the pull force is perpendicular to the incision direction ； • Do not disassemble the product before use ；
