  6. There is greater Spiritual Need in Battambang • Cambodia is 98% Buddhist • Buddhism is the state religion • Christianity represents only 0.4% of the population • Only since 1993 have Christians been allowed in the country

  7. A Mission Trip to work with the Church in Cambodia

  8. An opportunity to work with our Missionaries: Chuck & Jeannette Groth • Chuck & Jeannette are missionaries to Southeast Asia, stationed in Phnom Penh • They have been in Cambodia for 6 months • They are working to support the work of Christians in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam

  9. The Work in Cambodia • Christians of different denominations work together for the sake of the Gospel • Day care and the teaching of English have been mainstays of the outreach • Training Christian leaders is key
