Accomplishments • Project Participation Deerfield Winery Hood Mountain Park Expansion Graywood Resort Sugar Loaf Park Expansion Investigated, responded and monitored numerous other projects • 2020 General Plan Update Participation Subcommittee Meeting-- Traffic, Water, Tourism, Events CAC Meetings for entire General Plan Elements Meetings with Members of Board of Supervisors • Increase Community Awareness, Events and Fund raisers Luau and Picnics Community updates/meetings Water Well training courses etc. • Outreach Program to other Organizations Presentations to other organizations Coalition Formation Started for unincorporated Sonoma County • Special Projects Parcel Survey results to be released soon. Events Task Force which lead to recommendation of Events Coordinator at County in 2020 General Plan
One Role of the Valley of the Moon Alliance • To be a recognized force in the development process and be prepared to exercise all legal options for the Public Health, Safety and Welfare.

Advantages Significant chance to achieve some changes in the project Potential for court ordered mitigations measures Realist possibility to correct several EIR deficiencies Requires parties to look at alternatives A chance to recover attorney fees and costs First opportunity to be heard in neutral forum (s) by Public exercising it’s legal options Disadvantages County attitude towards VOTMA may be impacted Legal fees and costs from $50K to $100K Could lose case and investment. More public hearings possible Community’s commitment to develop Administrative Record California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Suit
