  2. Class Rules • Come to class prepared and ready to learn. • Make sure to bring a #2 pencil and an eraser to class everyday. I will not provide pencils.

  3. When you walk into class take your seat and put any belongings on the floor. • Keep your work space clear, nothing is to be on the table. • No food or drinks are to be in my class, if I see food or drink I will not hesitate to throw it away.

  4. Respect everyone in the class and never maliciously criticize anybody else’s work. • Try and be creative and think of unusual ways of attacking a project. (No one is penalized for taking artistic risks- they are encouraged!) • If you need help, please ask.

  5. If you need to be excused to go to the bathroom or your locker, you need to ask permission. If you “disappear” anytime during my class, I will call security. If I say no it is probably because someone is already out and you need to wait until they return. Privileges will be revoked to anyone who abuses it.

  6. When I am talking you are to listen. If you miss what I say you might miss something that will affect your grade or even hurt you. • I will NOT repeat myself to anyone who is disruptive or talking while I am talking. It will then be your responsibility to figure out what you missed.

  7. Clean up after yourself. At the end of class you will not be dismissed unless you are cleaned up at your area. If you see trash on the floor pick it up and throw it out. • Do not write on the tables, we have plenty of paper! If you do you will be spending QT with me after school scrubbing. • If you drop something on the floor you are responsible to pick it up and throw it out.

  8. When I give you a due date for your work it must be handed in during the class period of that day. If it is not handed in you will loose 10% of the grade everyday after. e.g. if the project is due on Monday and you hand it in on Thursday that is 30% off, if the project is worth a 100 it will now be worth 70and it still has to be graded.

  9. Don’t get nervous if you think that your work is terrible. As long as you have tried your best and followed the instructions, you will do well. Remember to study for quizzes because that is where kids tend to lose the most points.

  10. I am available after school, before school and during intervention time for extra help whenever needed. • During intervention I will be in my office rm 110.
