SKIPPER DL21 • Due to a new interpretation of the SOLAS rules it is now necessary to have separate STW and SOG sensors on vessels over 50 kGRT • This can be achieved with: • EML (STW) and DL850 (STW+SOG) • DL1 (STW) and DL850 (STW+SOG) • EML (STW) and DL2 (STW and SOG) • DL1 (STW) and DL2 (STW and SOG) • Using 2 hull penetrations or • DL21 Containing • DL1(STW) and DL2(STW and SOG) in a single set of units. And single hull penetration (100mm) • The System is supplied with 2 certificates: • DL1-Multi and DL2-Multi SKIPPER Electronics AS Enebakkveien 150 0680 Oslo www.skipper.no Tlf. +47 23 30 22 70 Fax +47 23 30 22 71 sales@skipper.no support@skipper.no
The DL1 Multi– JB70D21 interconnection unit • Contains the same as DL1- Multi and DL2-Multi • Requires 2 separate power supplies (DL1 must be 24V) SKIPPER Electronics AS Enebakkveien 150 0680 Oslo www.skipper.no Tlf. +47 23 30 22 70 Fax +47 23 30 22 71 sales@skipper.no support@skipper.no
The DL1 Multi– JB70D21 interconnection unit • Connection exactly as DL1 and DL2 • Sensor follows same colour code as DL1 and DL2 • Issues • Both systems have NMEA - VDVBW output • Use VDVHW for DL1 • Cannot ‘officially’ get VBW with STW from DL1 and SOG from DL2 • Not required, but we hope to add an option where the system communicate internally and can send VBW as the user requires • Alarms. Both systems must be set up with unique identities. SKIPPER Electronics AS Enebakkveien 150 0680 Oslo www.skipper.no Tlf. +47 23 30 22 70 Fax +47 23 30 22 71 sales@skipper.no support@skipper.no
