As you see the first noun is as an adjective for the next noun: • A history book • a bus driver • a stone bridge • chocolate milk • jungle animals Noun + Noun • a river fish • clock hands • a car window modifier of the next noun
Pay attention to these rules: • The first noun is as an adjective for the other noun, • The first noun never has plural “s”, e.g. cars windows, rivers fish,… • The first noun never has “of” and “ ‘s”. e.g. car’s windows, river’s fish
