Areas to Focus on Change:Procedures • Mix grades between floors • Traveling teachers have same room all day • Consequences for tardies in advisory • New Staff- more guidance: Building handbook for newbies
Areas to Focus on Change:Procedures • Kids in hallway during class: tardy sweep • Lunch detention/ISS Place for kids not to hang out • Better communication about testing
Areas to Focus on ChangeCurriculum • Teachers not teach just one subject • Want multiple teachers teaching same classes/curriculum • Sped Students tagged better for general education teachers • Work toward smaller class sizes
