WEEK 3 – September 19th The “Process” part two – The Nampa School District Compliance manual – IEP to Written Notice, progress reports and Exit WEEK 4 – September 26th The “Process” part three – Early Childhood IEP’s and Transition IEP’s WEEK – 5 October 3rd Determining ESY, Special transportation, assistive technology, Alt-Assess, our paperwork, process, files, meeting notes, Medicaid WEEK 6 – October 10th Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plans WEEK 7 – October 17th Change of Placement and pre-placement evaluation, WEEK 8 – October 24th Common Core – what does it mean to special education? Special Programs-Elementary • Structured Learning Classrooms • 2 Extended Resource rooms at Willow Creek Elementary and Parkridge Elementary • 1 Extended Resource Room at Greenhurst Elementary for Students who are Medically Fragile • 2 Classrooms for students with Autism at Ronald Reagan Elementary and Iowa Elementary • Full Time Nurse at Greenhurst Elementary • Program for students who are Hard of Hearing at Lake Ridge Elementary
Special Programs-Middle School • Structured Learning Classrooms • 1 Classroom for students with Severe/Profound disabilities who are medically fragile at East Valley Middle School • 1 Classroom for students with Severe Disabilities at East Valley Middle School • 2 Extended Resource Classrooms at West Middle School • 1 Classroom for students with Autism at Lone Star Middle School • 2 Classrooms for students with Emotional or Behavioral disabilities at South Middle school • Full time nurse at East Valley Middle School
Special Programs – High School • Structured Learning Classrooms • 2 Extended Resource rooms at each high school – RADD (Columbia, Nampa High and Skyview) • 2 Classrooms for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities at Skyview High School • PREP program for 18-21 year olds housed at Nampa High School. • Full time nurse at Skyview High School
