  2. Today… What is a DAA service? How does a DAA service help manage your medicines? How can you access DAA services? Is the DAA service for you? Any questions?

  3. It is normal to sometimes forget to take your medicine. Do you have problems taking your medicines? Do you ever forget to take your medicine? Do you accidentally miss doses? Do you ever accidentally take a dose twice?

  4. Taking your medicines as prescribed is important • Taking the wrong medicine or dose can: • reduce how well your medicine works; • result in poor control of your medical condition; • cause health problems; • result in hospitalisation.

  13. How is my medicine pack prepared? • Pharmacist draws up your medicine regimen • Pharmacist puts all your medicines into a pack • You collect your pack each week and review with the pharmacist

  14. What goes into my medicine pack? • All the preparations you take are important • Prescription medicines • Over-the-counter pills • Vitamins and minerals • Herbal supplements

  15. What about my other medicines? • Eye drops • Oral liquids • ‘When required’ medicines • Inhalers
