TASK 1: Team Challenge - Who will be fastest? You will be working in a team of 3-5. Choose one person to be the runner. Your teacher will allocate you a colour. When they say ‘Go!’ one member of your group should collect the first question card from the set in your colour at the front of the room. Work as a team to answer the question using the resources on your table (atlas, books etc). Write the answer on a piece of paper - the runner should take it to your teacher to check. If it is right they will tell you to collect the next question card - if it isn’t return to your group and try again.
TASK 2: Fact file Write up your answers to the team challenge questions as a fact file. Stretch yourself: Did any of the answers surprise you? If so, why?
