LANGUAGES OFFERED… YEAR 7 – All students learn French as their main foreign language *Set 1 are learning German also, as it is being re-introduced by MFN YEAR 8 – All students study French &Italian *Set 3 study just French YEAR 9 – All students study French &Italian *Set 3 study just French YEAR 10 – GCSE Italian x2 groups & GCSE French x1 group YEAR 11 – GCSE Italian x1 group & GCSE French x1 group YEAR 12/13/STAFF - NVQ LEVEL 1 Business Italian *A-LEVEL Italian will hopefully start September 2013

MFL RELATED EVENTS… *September – European Languages Day - French breakfast for lower school *Visit to Cambridge University (date to be released) *European cookery club for all years (monthly) *Italian film club KS4 (monthly) *French & Italian school links (penfriends set up) *December – KSCS choir sing carols in all 3 languages *February – Mardi Gras / Carnevale - mask making competition
