  4. How do you revise? • Reread class notes – this may be too passive if it is the only revision method used. • Games and Puzzles • Hangman • What am I ? (based on Who am I?), could be cell organelles and their structure or functions, processes • Crosswords • Interactive puzzles & quizzes Make use of key words and key ideas from the text

  11. Word Association • Mnemonics For Example: The planets of the solar system Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune My very earthy mother just served us noodles. Can you think of another mnemonic for the phases of mitosis

  13. Word Association cont. • Break down and simplify words Example Do you find it difficult to remember the difference between Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic and their definitions. HYDROPHOBIC HYDRO = Water PHOBIC = Phobia = Fear Hydrophobic is water hating, = insoluble in water.
