Why Teach Hybrid Courses? “There are a number of reasons why faculty members should consider teaching Hybrid courses, such as increasing student engagement, improving student learning, and -- not inconsequentially, offering new teaching vistas for themselves. As one instructor commented after teaching his first Hybrid course, ‘I was tired of hearing myself talk. This gets so much more student interaction.’ ”
