SLAC repository now contains working versions for both • Linux and WindowsNT • Geometry description taken from the document: • “Detector Geometry used for G4 Balloon Test”-April 15,2001 • New Display Canvas: • - Divided into 5 pads - front, side, two top views and a 3D view • - Views may be rotated by clicking and holding with the left mouse button (the default orientations will be re-painted when • the next event is drawn). • - Information about raw hits in the tracker and calorimeter can be obtained by clicking on the hit of interest with the right mouse button. • - Reconstructed track segments in the tracker may also be inspected in this way. • Bugs in recon display fixed • Linux version available to deal with new raw data format. 1 VRVS General Software Meeting – 26/07/2001
To do: • Implement recon data in CAL. • Compiled version – faster analysis, more robust. • Import XML geometry (Riccardo’s code?) • Aesthetics: display individual layers, colour continuum for CAL energy representation, … • Energy calibration for ACDs and XGTs. • Interactive setting of cuts (via GUI and Cint). 3 VRVS General Software Meeting – 26/07/2001
