  1. The cycle of a life frog

  2. Frog spawn • Frogs lay their eggs in wet places. They lay them in a floating clump which helps because now it is too big too be eaten by other pond creatures.

  3. Tadpoles • Tadpoles have a long tail and live in water. They rely on being camouflaged. They cannot survive without water.

  4. Getting bigger • Round about five weeks the tadpole begins to change. It grows its hind and front legs and its lungs begin to develop.

  5. Froglet • Now its becoming more froglike. It sheds its skin and lips, the tail gets much smaller and its legs grow much more.

  6. Adult frog • Eleven weeks after, the frog is fully grown. The frog does not go in the water as much any more but has occasional swims.
