Participate • How to Vote • Don’t need to have all books in library • Email, Fax, Snail Mail • When to Vote • Sept-December (Due Jan 1, 2013.) • What to Count • Direct voter participation • Circulation statistics
Kid Participation • Tell the kids that they can vote too! • Your parents just voted, now it’s your turn! • Children all over the state are voting. Don’t let them pick the winners without you! • Offer incentives! • Prizes/Raffles for participation in voting
Tips • Tally/Graphing: • Poster or wall graph, kids vote with stamps or stickers • Bookmarks • Ballot can be turned into bookmarks that can be placed in each nominated book. • Place ballot box in accessible place • Create a bulletin board display of nominated books • All book covers & graphics are available on NJLA website!
