Calculation is based on schedule recording with average recording hours per day and alarm recording with average number of alarms per day This calculator requires Visual Basic 6.0 SP6 Run time (VBRun60sp6.exe) which can be downloaded from Microsoft web site. NAPD: Average Number of Alarms Per Day NAPD1: Alarms during schedule REC NAPD2: Alarms during non-schedule REC Select Quality SF, FQ, NQ, EX Select Resolution Half D1 or CIF Audio ON or OFF Required disk space for alarm REC/Day Estimate and input average recording hours per day including Saturday and Sunday. Select Subject type Static NTSC Static PAL Dynamic NTSC Dynamic PAL Refer to the Page 6 for the reference of “Static” image and “Dynamic” image. Post Alarm REC ON or OFF Duration: 30-999 sec MB/day: Including schedule REC and alarm REC. Select REC rate Full, ½, ¼, 1/8, 1/16 Pre Alarm REC ON or OFF Note: NAPD1 substitutes schedule REC. ((Pre+Post duration) x NAPD1) must be less than Schedule REC duration. NAPD2 is addition to the schedule REC. ((Pre+Post) x NAPD2) must be less than (24H-Schedue REC duration). Pre Alarm Recording is normally 5 seconds (depends on the subject and REC mode)
To copy the parameters of Cam1 to Cam2-16, click “Copy 1=2-16” button. Input the disk space you have or required Rec days. Then click “Calculate” Help is displayed by mouse over. Expected recording time (days) or Required disk space will be displayed.
