IDEC Project • Catalog server: Firstly our approach is to host MD in our “central” catalog but we’re open to link with other CS. • Data access: Project pilot in the Administration (4 Departaments), based in WMS (Consulting data). In phase 2, open to others users, including WFS. At the end, we hope to implement geoprocessing and other services.
IDEC Project • Changing the public Administriation “culture” of issuing data. • Forum to meet, time bytime, differents Agents of the sector. • Rationalize public investments in GI and GIS. • First application focused on diminishing transactions cost (acces to geodata, services...) in GIS sector, and also in other economic activities, like real state or land bussines. • We would like to be able to quantify the economic benefits (in money).
