  2. What is television? • A television is a telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images that cannot be monochromatic(shades of grey)or multicolored.

  3. 1920’s John Logie Baird invented television.

  4. John Logie Baird He was born august 13, 1888 in Helenburgh. He was also raised there I believe. He had or have I believe 3 siblings and 2 kids.

  5. How did John L. Baird invent the television? • He had to borrow money from friends and use whatever materials he could including scraps.

  6. Why is the television interesting and important? • In year 1926, J.L. Baird first displayed television which had only 30 lines and gave coarse image. Currently the digital signal of the television sends pictures with 1080 lines. • Today it is very common in industrialized countries for a household to have at least one television.
