Reptelia-Reptiles • The most common reptiles include alligators, crocodiles, lizards, snakes, tortoises and turtles.
Amphibia-Amphibians • Most amphibians can both walk and swim in water.
Mammalia-Mammals • Most mammals have hair, or fur, covering their body. • Most mammals walk on 4 legs, with only the humans walking upright on 2 legs.
Annelids • There are about 9,000 species of Annelids known today, including worms and leeches. • There are many types of worms.
Mollusks • Mollusks were among the first inhabitants of the Earth.
Arachnids • Common arachnids are spiders and scorpions. • There are also mites and ticks which are small arachnids that are parasites.
Insects • There are over 800,000 different types of insects.
