What conclusions can you draw about the author’s purpose by analyzing the text structure? How can a change within the structure impact its effectiveness? How are patterns identified across multiple texts? How can analyzing patterns contribute to the identification of trends? How can changes to a pattern or a trend create new outcomes? How do patterns and trends impact people, cultures, and/or societies? What defines a contribution and how does it impact people, cultures, and/or societies? Why is it important to evaluate and summarize contributions leading to conclusions? How are new perspectives formed after summarizing the patterns and trends? What contributes to the forming of a perspective? In what ways does an author develop perspectives in text? (e.g., word choice, POV, literary devices, text structure, etc.) How do contributions, patterns, and structures affect a person’s perspectives? How can the evolution of a person’s perspective affect future changes?
