Events and Marketing Report to CNZ AGM 2004/05 • Secured Naming Rights supporter for 2005 National Track and Road Championships • Produced electronic CNZ Road Events Calendar, which will become integrated • Established transparent tender process for CNZ Championship events – Road, Track, Criterium • Design and production of new National Champs Road Jersey Saturday May 21 2005

Assisted with 2005 Lion Foundation Track Cycling Championships, and early stages of 2005 Road Champs, Criterium Champs and 2006 Track Champs • Successful running of UCI Women’ s World Cup Road Race, Wellington. BikeNZ on board of management • First BikeNZ owned mass participation Road event – Scottwood Trust Bike the Bays • Taking part in season structure review • Enlarged media contacts list and data base, and standardised media release format and process • Kick started “Quick Release” – more frequently, more information, to more people

Priorities for 2005/06 • Support CNZ Championship events • Secure a naming Rights “sponsor” for Criterium Champs • Establish a New Zealand event as part of UCI Golden Bike Series • Research and complete sanctioning project for private event promoters • Improvement of event calendar presentation, and content
